We are a Aces High II Squadron representing semi-historically 79th FG. Yes we fly as Bishops in Aces High II.

We fly P-47 as our host fighter. But we do regularly mix up the fighter combination. Yes we also do bombing, Special Carrier operations & vehicle operations.

We fly in the Main Arena, eXtreme Air Racing & Snapshot presently. Some of our pilots are generally on through out the week. In the near future we would like to do other special events such as: Close Escort, Scenarios & King of the Hill.

We are looking for ( 4-8 ) add on pilots for a good base squadron. Teamwork is always a plus at Squadron Nights. Ever thought about being in command? But don't really want to start a squadron.

We offer not your usually people just giving orders. The 79th FG realizes that you pay to play on Aces High II just like we do.

So here is your chance to take a leadership role and learn how to take command of a squadron / group. We work with our members, so they can take on the command role. And be included in the command rotation of the 79th FG on Squad. Nights.

We do require a 3 week trial with us.
This helps us with new people just trying out Aces High II for 2 weeks then leaving the squadron with a squadron pilot manning to fill and changing all our website roster pages. This will also gives the squadron a chance to get to know you. And have a feel on where you are with your flying ablities.
And will in turn in the future help you and the squadron with getting the information & training to you.

Hi, Im 15, and brand new to Aces High.  I have basic flying knowledge just like your site describes, but I really have no skills.  I have 1 kill, but countless deaths.  I am very interested in your squadron, and I have a few more follow up questions.  Right now, I am looking around at different squadrons and experimenting.  I am currently on a trial period with one squadron, but if that doesnt work out, I may be interested in joining you guys.

About Me:
I am on the 2 week trial, but im am 95% sure that I will be buying the subscription.

My Questions:
What hours do you typically play?
When are your major missions etc?
Are you willing to help some1 like myself who can fly, but has a lot of questions about gameplay etc?
Will I be given good training especially on effective tactics for the plane we will be using?
How often do we have missions?
What do our missions typically consist of?  I think your site said escort.  If so, who do we escort?

Im sorry if I seem downright annoying, I just want to find the right squadron.  The most important thing to me right now is training and what hours.  As you can imagine, I am in High School so my schedule can get pretty messed up at times.  However, I usually have plenty of time on my weekends.

Glad you have an interest in the 79th Fighter Group.

No question is a dumb question. To learn and being informed on your interest; you must ask question and learn from them.

Typically we are on in the evening around 6:00 PM CST / 7:00 PM EST during the week. I am on at different times during the weekends; usually late afternoon to early evening. As a group we tend to show up all over at different times on the weekend.

We have Squad. Nights, Air Racing, Snapshot are our major missions & squadron / group get together.

Broken down like this:    

Mon. ... Squad. Night.............8:00 EST
Tues.....Extreme Air Racing.....7:30 PM EST practice / Race @ 9:00 PM EST
Weds....Snapshot............. .... 9:45 PM EST show up time /10:00 PM EST start

Our minors are flying in the main arena. We tend to group together and fly  missions up as the night goes. We try to kind stick together and do things as a group outside the Squad. Night.  

You don't have to do this in off nights. Sometimes you may just want to furball, vehicule operations or etc. The list doesn't end. May you just want to wing up and fly with a wingman. And do team manovers and learn some air combat or other training.

Yes we do have some younger members on in the weekends. And we show & training them on various aircraft or vehicles operations.

If you want more training just ask me or one of our members for more training.

I could schedule some training time one on one. Or wing up with you for some flight time as wingman tatics or vehicle operation time.
