.r command problem
« on: April 23, 2007, 10:51:54 PM »
I've noticed sometimes if someone has sent you two PMs since your last one and you use a .r command it will double send the message.

example:

Dude1: Hi
Dude2: Hows it going
Dude2: Wanna fly with me?
(Dude1 uses .r Sure, how bout 47s?)
Dude1: Sure, how bout 47s?
Dude1: Sure, how bout 47s?

That's because I think it makes you message yourself in some situations.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I noticed this too. Had 2 PM chats going, thought I was spamming both guys. Does only the sender see duplicates?

I've never received any duplicates, but I've sent them a couple times.

Same thing here

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.
