It's too bad the film viewer doesn't keep track of where the defensive guns and control surfaces were..
And it's gonna kick bellybutton when we get that new lighting/self-shadowing.  I think it ought to allow us to have stronger ambient lighting, even if they don't change the ambient lighting engine.

I tried to replicate this shot

For the XVI's wiki page, but didn't have the patience to keep trying.. I can't get that same angle. And the lighting is just too dark, so you have to separately edit the plane and sky to make the details still pop out like they do on that real pic..

It looks great mate, trying to replicate a shot perfectly is one of the hardest things to do.

That looks like a Spit14 with clipped wings.  Is it?

Not if you pay 25$/year, then it's 20MB.  I don't think they restrict resolution.  Videos are 500MB and 10min IIRC.  Non-paying, they restrict to 1024 pixels wide and 10MB.

That'd make it a Spit12, I think?

Guppy is the authority on this... I'm pretty sure they were clipped and equipped with the Griffon engine.

I just quoted the post a second ago to see if the name of the picture stated the aircraft.  Here's what is said:
