A brief story of 109s on the hunt. (all unedited)

Enroute to the hunting grounds.

Enemy sighted. Clean it up and cycle to guns.

Come at them from different angles... take away their options.

Puma downing a P-39.

Enemy down or retreating. Form up for landing and rearm.

A successful sortie.

Sad this fight had to end.  It was a very good one.  :joystick:

Actually roped this guy.  Probably the only time it's ever worked out like it's supposed to.

Low on fuel and ammo, shot all up, pilot wounded and behind enemy lines. Just another day at the office. Time to try and ditch but with a missing landing gear and my pilot blacking out every 10 seconds this could be difficult.

Made it! Uh-oh, what's that? An F4U coming right for me!  :uhoh

 Is he going to shoot me for an easy kill? Wait, why are his gears down?  :headscratch:

Well hello there Mister F4U  :) .

Aren't we a pair, neither of us can land without losing our wing. I was missing a landing gear, what's your excuse!?  :D

:salute To the pilot who will land with an enemy or fly in formation with them just for laughs. Always great fun when it happens.
:salute To Biggamer, the F4U in these shots.

Thanks for the words guys.  :salute

I've been winging for years now. Working with a wingman and using tactics is what I find most fun about this game anymore.

Few shots from jetweek in the AvA.

Jaeger in his 51 doing a great job of using my speed against me.

I believe this was slipstrm. He did a good job of retaining his E while executing some aggressive maneuvers. I had worked my nose around on him at this point though...

Jaeger once again in his pony. He juked, he jived, he even busted out the ole "kansas city two step" but we finally bagged him. Some more wingman tactics and the high-low split finally cornered him.

Some FSO action

I really like how this one came together with the light, shadows, and clouds

The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

Few more wingman shots from this weeks AVA action.

Puma and I squared off for a few rounds before the arena picked up. I had just made him miss on this pass in his spit. I ran out of E a short time later and he generously donated a few yards to my cause.

We teamed back up when some others joined the arena. We flew some pasta tossers for a couple sorites...

Managed to work striker into a corner and pepper him to death with a thousand or so rounds. I couldn't kill a blimp in a 202.

Reform and hunt again. Not sure who this was but he didn't get eyes on us until we were close.

This is turn two after the initial merge. I'm taking my split and perch up high to set up for an 'out of plane' pass.

A bit of fun with a 109 and 110. The F to help the target bleed speed and E while the 110 performs the Tercio de Muerte

A few from the past couple of days that I took from a couple films I saved.

La-7 falls to my Seafire.

Ki-84 falls victim to my Yak-9U.

N1K2 is next to go.
