Hey all,

Odee was kind enough to inform me that I should really be answering applications in this thread, rather than via PM as I've been conducting it, because otherwise it might give the impression that I don't care

Kudos to him for the tip, I never really did think of that (I'm still new to this whole CO thing )

CrazyOwl, as for you, well, we "normally" fly rooks unless there's a huge number imbalance (which often happens on the weekends) in which case I'll certainly be switching sides for a few hours and the squad is welcome to (and encouraged to) as well.  The side-switch time limit is currently at 1 hour, so it's not as unreasonable proposition as it was in the past.

I am also eastern time, although past and present members of the squad have been all over the place.

Is CrazyOwl your ingame ID?  If so, I'll keep a lookout for you.  Please do the same for me.  If you'd like, we can arrange a time to actually meet in the arena (I'm usually in LW "Orange" simply because LW Blue is usually full).

Like I said in my first post, I'm not the greatest stick, but I'm confident that I can get you up and running in the Corsair if you're having troubles.  We could meet in the TA, if you'd like, and fly a few rounds to see where we're at.

I'm going to PM you just alerting you to check this thread.

Ahhhh ... potential recruit? Yer gonna hafta love corsairs and carriers (though, technically speaking, VF-17 was a shore based combat squad it did do a fair amount of work getting the F4U recognized as a decent tailhook fighter).
