Someone at my work has a tattoo that's flourescent.  It's absolutely invisible under normal lighting, but under UV, it's very bright.  Pretty damn cool idea.

A brilliant job of color-matching, however. After the tattoo was done, I couldn't tell it was even there.

Serves me right for skimming through without reading the whole thing to see that you were actually saying that you don't have any.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a nice eagle tatooed on my forearm but it seems like everyone is getting tatoos these days and I honestly dont like herding......

Go against the grain, Benjamin Franklin style, and get a big honkin' tattoo of a turkey.

A single tear dripping from its eye as it gazes at Dale Earnhardt's silhouette on the horizon of New York city, circa September 12th, 2001...

Yeager, it doesn't matter how many men have tattoos. It's not herding when men do it.  It mostly seems like herding when the women get those. Go for it Yeager!

To me those things are distasteful.

How many sheep do you have to see with Tribal tats to call a sheep a sheep?

Tats are trendy right now.

It is really a shame, most women who get them really ruin themselves.

I think they don't look distasteful on men. I think they look extremely distasteful on women though.

I would say... if you are going to get one, Yeager,
get one where the sun don't shine.

That's what I did. It's a beautiful small butterfly :)

No one knows I have it... well almost no one.
It doesnt show.

Thanks Texasmom.

If you get a tattoo you dont really care when people think negative about them. Its a personal thing. But when someone gives you a compliment then all the better.

I believe some tattoos are trendy and herding. But when you get a tattoo you usually want something thats unique and represents you. Not everyone else with one. Hence, why I wont get tribal.

None of my tattoos show in shorts or a tshirt. So the only time you'll see mine is when Im at the beach. I can also apply for a job somewhere and not worry about my boss' thoughts on a tattoo that shows.

I haven't yet decided, but I leaning toward this for my first tattoo:

Depends on what and where the women get them.

Depending on whats done and where, they can look sexy..Well at least on younger women.

The women that get full arm tats look rediculous on women though.

I have two. On on each forearm.

A somewhat cheesy Bald Eagle on my right arm

and The head of a Viking on my left.

Both could stand a touchup LOL

I wouldnt mind another but as of yet I yhavent decided what I would like for long enough to actually get it.

My self imposed rule and the one I suggest for others to follow is never get one spur of the moment.
Find something you like and hang it on a wall where you will see it every day. if you still like it 6 months from now get it.

If not. then dont. They will be with you alot longer then 6 months so choose wisely
