I'm sorry but if I'd had a bill one 10th that size my dad would have hired me out as forced labor till it was paid.  By the time I was your age I was basically supporting myself. Dad took care of room and board but if I wanted something above that I had to go out and earn it. By the time I graduated from High School I had over 5 grand stuck away in savings. Which was a pretty fair sum of money back in 1970. And that was after I bought my first car btw. :)

I earned the vast majority of that at less than 50 cents an hour with a lawn mower. I hated the work, but it was the only way available.

Just maybe since you did pay them back they decided to allow you to be an adult about it and go on with your life figuring a lesson had been learned. Should you repeat the mistake they may look at it differently.

Or did you figure they should put you over Dad's knee and paddle your butt?

WTH? You need to pay for incoming calls/messages now?

Down here most companies offer like 1000 messages monthly for free (sending, receiving is always free unless you're abroad).

You pay to send, AND to receive, and we get none free.

All I have to say is, get a different cell phone provider!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have a plan with three phones, unlimited TEXT, anywhere minutes, and 1000 shared internet minutes a month and it never runs over $129 a month.  most phone companys will tailor a plan for you.  Good luck with the BILL.
