Drone damage bug in film viewer
« on: June 22, 2007, 03:21:32 PM »
Have film of an attack on a formation of B-24s in a Jet. While I seem to miss the lead plane entirely, in the film viewer I'm seeing hit sprites in the same location on the lead plane as I'm hitting on the drone. I thought I had shot both planes last night, and decided to watch the film this afternoon (when sober), amazed that they didn't both die immediately. This bug may not actually be a film issue, but I figured I had simply not seen what I thought I had.

Also, Sudz/Pyro/HT, did anyone have a look a the tailless goon film I sent in?

yeah it does that for me also.

Any hits on drones are also shown on the lead plane but no damage is taken on the lead.

only happens in film viewer, never in game for me.

I thought I'd seen them in game as well. I've been rolling film regularly after seeing some rather odd things, and figured when I watched the film, I'd see my eyes had simply played tricks on me.

Now I don't know what's going on. I know I expended a full clip from a 262, getting multiple hits on this guy, but 30mms from dead 6 don't seem to do any damage. After my goon experience the other night, and this film, I'm getting :noid  .

my bullets in any plane are totaly porked hub, im serious, even hizookas are taking 3-4 times as many hits to kill stuff.

as to the bomber thing, i usually always target te lead plane these days, the one with someone actualy flying it, the least likely to warp all over the sky just as i open fire.

i'm glad you said this, i was beggining to think something was wrong with my ammo.

I'll put my goon film up when Picture Hangar gets squared away. My ammo alters reality. :noid
