Hi Mac,
Congratulations Fred, marriage is meant to be the second greatest of all blessings here on earth, and if you have a daughter who is marrying well, then the only thing you have lost is the burden of being directly responsible for her well-being. For you it is all gain, for she does not cease to be your daughter, and he has become your kin.
As for Tuesday weddings, don't listen to the naysayers. To tell the truth, from a Pastor's perspective I could wish everyone got married on a Tuesday instead of Saturday. A Saturday wedding means I have three sermons to write and preach back to back, the church gets grandly messed up the day before the Lord's Day and needs to be cleaned and rearranged again that evening, and usually I end up exhausted the day before the most important day of the week.
Hey, one final life-long rule if life I give to grooms (apart from 7 weeks of pre-marriage counseling and examination of Eph. 5:24-33):
"First, he must choose his love, and then he must love his choice."

The Lord Bless, Keep, and Increase them,
