x45 throttle

In order to use my x45 throttle with a new stick (thinking about a CH), would I need to keep the whole rig connected or is there a way to use the x45 throttle by itself?

Hi

IMO you must keep the whole X36/45 rig connected.

I modified my X36 HOTAS so, that I dis-assembled the X36 stick completely and rewire it's PCB-boards  to the X35T throttle's extended base. The end result was full functional standalone X35T throttle, with plenty of future modification capabilities.

Task requires some plastic cutting, drilling and wire soldering.

you need to have both the X45 throttle and jstik connected as a unit.
