As for more or less "manly" men's view on freedom, well, I consider myself manly enough, and MANLY ENOUGH to consider a woman's freedom to be equal to the ones of man.

Angus it doesn't say much good of your own wit and lucidity to insinuate lazs is stupid.
The issue with "womens' freedom" isn't that it per se is less deserving than mens', but that it will lead them to replicate what they were conditioned to. "For your own good", "think of the children", etc.

Women are full fledged human beings... thinking of us as "less than" or "less deserving" than men, is sociopathic in my view... and thus pretty pathetic.

A sociopath is a sociopath regardless of degree. One shouldn't act like that if one is not one.

well... a sociopath, or any one I am aware of is an equal opportunity nutter... he couldn't care less about anyone regardless of race, creed, color, or gender.

but, men and women are different regardless of if you think they are equal or not... they most definintly are not "equal" men are stronger. women live longer.. women and men do not have equal hormones. in those things they are not in the least "equal"

women and men should have the same rights but those "rights" end when they, either men or women, try to control others.

I agree with most of what you have said, Lazs.

I am not sure but that you are confusing the word sociopath with the word socialist. They are two very different terms.

I think "Men" are great... and I put my heros on a pedestal... and cherish and protect their egos as best I can.

There are men in Aces High who have earned hero status in my eyes.
I respect everyone as a human being, regardless.

Well, call it what you choose. But I have those two golden lines on the same page from Lazs, - issue woman's rights:

"My opinion is that they never should have been allowed to vote tho"

And later:
"women and men should have the same rights"

Since that one gets ended with a "but" and yadda yadda about controlling others, how about men NOT controlling women in the same way.

There is then a long and consistent plan in that, for the "freedom" issue with it's various important sides has been adressed for a long time. It has had a line through the gun-threads, the corporation issues, the global warming threads, the gay marriage, and then, women.

Here's a golden oldie. What the woman should be like:
"I want clean, kinky and good natured. I want to be able to do what I want to do and I very seldom comprimise on anything important. If babies are involved then they need to stay home and raise em. "
