LOL,
Of course I would like a better audio system if I had unlimited resourses- who wouldn't.  If you really want to help with my audio setup, you could give me another $10k. :) It is actually a great sounding system for under $2500.  Besides, my playroom is only 10' x 12'.  The new high def audio codecs (DD True HD, etc) sound awesome with HD movies.:)

You're right.  I also have a 50" plasma and have to look around the sky a lot to keep the "burning" factor down.  So far hasn't been a problem, but even with all that looking around I still get surprised and blasted out of the sky more times than I care to admit...  maybe everyone should get plasmas and the extra looking around might cut down on some of the sarcastic "Thanks for the check-6" vox we hear all the time.

Arena setup for offline practice.  I don't usually auger into the side of a hill intentionally when online. :)

Actually, you were pretty rude about my audio setup without even knowing what it is, let alone hearing it.:)

Well I hope those were 7.1 effect speakers I saw on the wall..

Wall mounting, small size, position high in the room.. Cannot produce a quality soundfield.

Instead of all of us buying big screen TVs why don't we get AH to use bigger icons so we can see the bad guys. Even on my 22 inch monitor the bogies are miniscule until its too late.

You could probably double your sound quality by installing the speakers on 2-3 feet long wall mountings which would separate the speakers from the wall and allow you to point them towards your listening position.

Small speaker size is not inherently a bad thing but it does make the speaker sensitive to wall reflections. Direct wall placement is especially problematic in bass region where it tends to make the sound boomy and harsh. Early reflections kill the high-mid region also.

With 3 feet or more clearance from any walls (or the ceiling/floor for that matter) will produce you a greatly improved sound using the same hardware as now. This 'tweak' is easy to try, costs nothing and almost guaranteed works.
