You're right; it was refreshing to hear something nice.  Aside from the initial 'getting lost' part... looks like their Dad made some good choices that contributed to their survival.

I'm glad they were found safe and returned home. That's a great Christmas gift for the family and friends that were so worried.

I just don't understand how they could have gotten lost like that. Maybe I've spent too much time outdoors in the boonies to be able to understand how someone could become so lost under those conditions. :huh

idiots...They better be fined for using Gov services to search for those handsomehunkes...

They wanted to save $40 so they cost taxpayers atleast 50,000$ +

it's called training, you do want the rescue services trained don't you? What better training than a real rescue?
