My 2 cents would be that the tail section is too black.

In the photo it looks like a matte black and your skin represents the black too deeply.

I'd drop some grey/brown/dark green (very faintly) over the top with a 'dirty' brush to give the black a more blemished complection.

Something like that, anyway.

Consider this:

The bikini is very dark in that photo. However, it's from the same angle to the light as the tail fin is. The tail fin shows the blue in vibrant color, but the bikini is not. It is almost indistinguishable from the cowling color. I would say make if nearly black. It's definitely not the bright vibrant blue that shows up on the tail.

Sun is from aft.  Cowlings might be putting shadow and I did zoom in and it is not the same as the nose black.  And Almost is not the same as IS is is it?

The profile I sent him has everything else correct, so I would believe it over the "appearance" of the photo even assuming you are correct.  Which I do not think you are in this case.

Sun is from the side. Note the shadow under the horizontal stabs? It's stretching across the fuslage, which it wouldn't do if the sun were only from behind.

It's at such an angle (about 45 degrees up, 45 degrees off the tail) that it seems to be lighting the entire side of the plane evenly. There is a small shadow (maybe) near the cooling flaps but I still say that the bikini is in no way the bright shade of blue on the skin


P.S. Good idea for a skin! Very eye-catching!
