Vulching a second account to pad your rank isn't cheating by some standards, and look where that got you.

ahhh but that is cheating and you will get booted for that. playing on a second account to just play is not cheating.

this is nothing less of people complaining of gvs driving inside other gvs they whine when it happens and complain of cheating when in fact its not. i have been told that by skuzzy. if i remember right (been some time ago when i asked) if they are stupid enough to let you drive into their tiger they deserve it.

now if Skuzzy where to come on and say yes its a loop hole of some sort then i dont mind not doing it. but the way i see it is a chain fence would not stop a tank in anyway so what is being done is not using a loop hole to my advantage.

this also works both ways the said nme gvers can flank and park against the other side of the fence and shoot inside the fence. so its fair on both sides.

Well see, thats whats wrong with the game. Game play has been going down hill for a long time, and its attitude like this that do it. Just because you CAN do a thing, doesn't mean you SHOULD do a thing.

I play this game for the fun of the fight. If where I'm flying starts turning into a vulch fest, I'll go look for another fight, or help with the bombing. I don't run GVs much because there isn't many challanges. The biggest one seems to be to find a good "vulching" spot, either at a spawn point, or now, safely behind a fence. Either way once you do one of those things, its pretty much a piece of cake, shoot at the vehicles that really can't defend themselves. WOW! sounds like fun.

I guess if we could teach the deer to come to the edge of the woods and stand still, all the deer hunters would be pleased.

In the "old days" this game was much more about the fight. Learn to use your plane to shoot down the other plane. I'm sure there was vulching, but I don't remember it being as rampant as it is now. Game play has turned into winning at ALL COSTS. That "ALL COST" is whats killing the fun. Using "loop holes" because its easier than learning how to fight.

Ahhh welll, but such is life these days. Nobody wants to work to get ahead, they would much rather stab someone in the back and take their spot.

The only difference between cheating and being a twit is a declaration from HTC. They changed their stance on scorepadding through multiple accounts, hopefully they'll take an interest in exploits and their negative effect on gameplay.

Now I understand how people shoot me through the trees when they're really close. But it doesn't explain how people 2k away shoot me through trees. It's gotten bad enough that it's taking the fun out of that aspect of the game.

thats cause they turn their graphics down. that i dont do and cant stand. i no longer park in the fence since so many want to cry about it.

These are reasons why I don't fly much anymore and rarely GV is because of twits that want to exploit a bug in a 'game'.  Kids and Grown-Adults (yes they do it too) will do this because it makes them feel like big men!  THen when they are done they will go tell 'little-Johnny' to play fair.  Then they wonder why their kid grows up and starts popping steroids.  Good leadership daddy!
If you can't fight a fair fight and have to shoot through a fence that you know the enemy can't shoot through your pathetic in many ways.  Nothing personal to you Kilz but it is a boring tactic so I would just come carpet bomb you in my lancs.  Then you can call me a dweeb for doing that.  The hordes and such are a common thing in this game, but isn't that how you win a 'war' is by mass-numbers?  I am fine fighting a horde, just more targets to shoot at.  But the little bugs people think makes them a bigger man just shows how small they are and tells me they got stuffed in their locker in high school.

i already have my squad stop doing this so try letting it die now. instead of adding fuel to the fire.

My long standing policy on "loopholes" or game exploits has been to stop at nothing to put the "gamer" back in the tower as many times as I can. The instant I hear someone say "so-and-so's here in his spit/tiger/etc" I immediately go into destroy-so-and-so mode.  Interestingly, it's not just me who does this. Rarely does a warpy plane ever get out alive. Nobody wants someone like that to benefit from his dweebary in any way.

The moral is: If you like to exploit the game you are only making yourself the target of every enemy plane or vehicle within the sector.  I've upped 1000 pounders to bomb people hiding underground at shore batteries and inside buildings where they can't be seen. All died, every time. The guy who warps until he gets on your six winds up with in the middle of a fix he can't get out of, almost every time. If their aren't enough people there to do it, the ones he kills spend the next few sorties hunting and punishing him. There is nothing more satisfying than whacking someone who tried to use something other than cunning or skill to beat you.

I send video's of the warpers to HTC when I can. Anyone who disappears or warps away every time someone gets a solution on him, but never when he's on their six, are exploiters and deserve nothing but contempt and our wrath.

Ditto with GV's who exploit terrain structures to gain an unfair advantage.

up more then a 1000 times please for i like the fight. no i dont vulch, nor do i spawn camp that much. i am the kind of persons that will sit at my spawn point into an nme base looking for places of advantage and use it against my nme.

LOL...you don't spawn camp... you do something worse.  I can break a spawn camp in 10 minutes, because they can all take rounds still.  All I need is one shot... and poof each one goes buh bye.  in 5 or 10 sorties I have broken even the dreaded LTAR spawncamp... with much fun on both sides.

No, what you do is worse.  You find a programming flaw and then sit outside the VH... (how this isn't spawn camping to you... )
in a spot where the enemy can't put rounds on you, (and therefore have no chance of having fun) but you can sytematically kill them.  Spin it however you want, I call you a cheat...just the same as the guys who turn down their graphics to see through objects.  You are using a known quirk to screw up everyone's fun.

This little flaw will go away in time... Just like the last one where you could back up into windmills and have the same thing happen.  What really pissed me off, is to see you on here gloating about it... I thought you were a better caliber player.. I was obviously wrong.  Stating two posts after your gloat that you have stopped your squad from doing it now will not change it.   your old reputation... it's gone now.

Using terrain structures is ground combat.  You shouldn't expect someone to just sit out in the open and let you land rounds.

I came here to add my name to the list of folks pissed about the flaw with the Vbase fence.  I lost alot of kills last night to someone who was parked inside there.  I was staying off a Vbase, driving around and having good fights with people ( Shegotya, nice fights)  when I displaced from one spot to head to another, after a particular heavy round of fighting.

Some shemp is holed up in the fence...you know the rest.  Took him 5 rounds, in which time i landed 3 rounds to the fence he was behind...I was really pissed.  Then, when called on it, he says.."well I've had it happen to me."

Please fix this problem HT.  And the issue of people dropping their graphics to see through terrain and smoke.  Otherwise, just drop GV's period.  I really liked their addition, as a subscriber.... but I hate being gamed constantly.
