Great Idea! Kudos!
Count 249 Sqn RAF "Gold Coast" IN!
RAF means...that we would like to be on Allied side, naturally, and, if possible, fly British kites.
We accept to drive land leased "yankee" planes but we insist in giving them a different name and camo. Roundels are the only way our Axis fellows can aim at us, poor krouts...
Also, we demand an Air Marshall, a Vice-Air Marshall, a Commodore and all their staff, official vehicles included. We also find essential, a few WASPs and, of course, an Officers and NCOs Mess and Nissen Huts with heating.
Tea and gin are mandatory, as is beer. A few cigarretes too.
My cat will be the Squadron's mascot, he will need his own quarters and staff too.
If those requirements are met, we may participate in all sorties that do not collide with our bridge, gin rummy, cricket, rugby and football matches.
Thank you,
Sparrow
