After participating over the last 3+ weeks, this same debate keeps popping up. It obviously bothers people, and after thinking on it...
I'm not sure why.
Here's the facts:
Milkrunning happens by BOTH sides
Outnumbering happens on BOTH sides
In the italy map, the dynamic "front line" hasn't shifted more than a few grid spaces in either direction.
While some groups might be able to snake a few bases behind enemy lines, or perhaps even near the front lines, it doesn't make a terrible imbalance or serious problem.
When adequate numbers are reached, players on BOTH sides have already figured out they got backdoor'd or need to push harder on the front. And they do. Balance is returned, and all the bloody noses and black eyes from the milkrunning is healed.
I don't think some people take into consideration the whole picture when complaining about a certain issue. Look farther ahead at what we have here and you'll see it isn't NEARLY as unfortunate as anyone thinks.
There's ALWAYS something to do in here, and regardless of weather or not one side got an extra couple deployment points, one side isn't seriously out matched or disadvantaged.
I for one commend Soda and Mr. Fork on a job well done in creating an awesome atmosphere, where players can work togeather at a common goal, and accomplish some great things.
Mr. Fork and Soda!
