A bit off topic...that stalingrad movie....by the boys that did Das Boot...

Now, to make things interesting....

top 5 or so worst....and the nominations are.

Battle of the bulge. C'mon! the ardennes didn't look like the mojave desert.
Hitler" the last ten days  Alec Guiness as hitler? not convincing
Band of brothers...only the episodes with David Schwimmer.
Captain what's his heads mandolin.
Battlestar Galactica (didn't specify which war, did ya?)
Ilsa: She-wolf of the SS (very predictable plot)

And...for even MORE fun...how about war movies you'd like to see?
Serious or humourous, include cast members.

No, I stand by what I said :) .

I didn't like "Tora, Tora, Tora" much. Yes it was pretty historically accurate, but I just couldn't get into it like I did with Pearl Harbor!


EDIT: If it redeem's me just a little bit, Pearl harbor is the only Love Story I like. ;)

Battleground - Band of Brothers long before Band of Brothers.  A lot of 101st vets had bit parts too.  Tired, worn, scared and doing what that had to GI's.  They looked like Willie and Joe, not like recruiting poster GIs of so many war movies.

Kelly's Heros---Just cause.  

"Air Force" -Guilty pleasure, complete propoganda film, made during WW2,  about the B17D  "Mary Ann"  winning WW2 all by itself.
