Yeah, cause then all the newbs who try to fly up the tail pipe up a large buff will most likely get their plane flipped upside down from the large down flow of air created by counter rotating vortices.

Depends on where you position yourself.  :D

Columbo

"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."

Fate whispers to the warrior "You cannot withstand the storm" and the warrior whispers back "I AM THE STORM"

Nice eyecandy/modeling but it would be a performance killer. IMHO

If you allow them to be disabled then you will get the complaints that the gamers will always turn it off so they can kill the buffs without being flipped.

might as well never have it then unless you only want it there for looks.

IMHO

I meant this as a visual effect only.. Wake turbulence would be interesting, but was not my intent for posting..

I assume motherland your intent is to show that you can disable certain effects and I agree.

My point is if half the users will disable the effects wouldnt it be time better spent else where. Maybe something that the whole community will enjoy?

Graphically, why would it be much more of a load than tracer trails or damage smoke?

Dang Mudr.....just come bunch holes in my theory why dont you! :D

It would be rather easy to code when it came on to. Certain airspeed, altitude, and AoA.

I stand on my point if you include the wake turbulence effects tho.

Well, I've talked to every hole I know.  Most are truly concerned with the hole community rather than themselves as individual holes, but they would much rather see properly turbulent air than merely condensation effects.  A couple good, solid, microbursts and flipping fighters in wake turbulence.
