changing formations

when ever I try to set formations for bombers (doesn't seem to matter which formation) game locks up when ever I get within 800 of the enemy and it does not seem to matter whether I am in the bombers or the fighter.

dkff49, I think this could be related to the bug I posted below. Do you have "can dogfight'" unselected in the flight properties? If so, find the 3 segments that are in attack mode and change them to cruise. Then you can at least shoot at them without the CTD but, they won't fire back.

thanks just figured out that it was the can dogfight check box will try that thanks
