I have had this radical idea, so might as well put it out here.

I believe the war needs...some adjustment.  As much as I appreciate the staff, I believe some 'regular joe' input would be handy.  I say take a couple hardcore (very active) allied guys, a couple hardcore (very active) axis guys, give them access to a staff forum and let them air their grievances and work things out with the staff.

As much as I am thankful for the staff, what we see and what they see can often be two different things....and the truth lost somewhere in between.

That seems like very good and well thought out idea. Of course after reading our usual daily caca in here... You have to wonder if they really want us having any more access to them. I do like the idea though. Maybe it shouldn't be their forum, because they do need a place to disuss their issues without our input. Possibly setup a War Forum where just the AVA staff and one or two reps from the  Axis and Allies have access, to try and cut through some of the clutter.

I guess you wernt there for the past three years where JG54 were the ONLY axis squad kepping AvA alive. Every night JG54 had half if not more then half the numbers. We even switched to even number. So go back to your little wonderland with your other shades and st fu since you know nothing about us.

It was an olive branch asking folks to lighten up on both sides. Unfortunatly as I stired the AVA waters with it I failed to notice it was blood stained. The sharks moved in smelling blood in the water. Then the feeding frenzy ensused. I rowed back to the beach shaking my head at my own foolishness for just opening another beach to get bit at. Surf's up, just don't dangle your arms or legs in the water.

Yes, I agree.  Beyond the smack and bravado, there are genuine concerns on both sides that should be talked about if this war thing and indeed CT are ever to be sucessful in the long term.

It's really impossible to discuss them in the AvA forum, the Axis/Allied forums are like preaching to the choir (for those who even have access), and PM's just aren't as constructive either.  To solve an issue there needs to be 4 sides to the argument.  Allied/Axis/Staff and the eventual agreed upon compromise.

Even with that in place, not everyone is going to be happy.  But at least we can feel as though we have some say in the process.  We can each petition our union rep to push for the changes we'd like to see.

Why don't you PM a member of the AVA Staff with your idea. The two sides could pick their reps if the staff is willing. This should be a serious no flame forum, where like you said actual concerns and issues could be brought up in an adult manner.
