Olympic torch extinguished during Paris leg

Wtg  :rofl

I wonder if they will ever get it there the normal way. Maybe they will need a secret flame, or perhaps someone in china invents a lighter (or reverse engineers one) and gets it going on their own.  :)

-update- Turns out it was the French government that pwned the flame and not the demonstrators. Not easy to be a demonstrator when the government is playing tricks on you  :uhoh

HAHA, so you're saying the demonstrators got 'torched' by the French government?  Touche!

My Zippo went out yesterday also.
With a quick refill I got it back up to speed.
The overfill burn on my leg hurts like hell.

Wonder If I will get a spot on the news. <yawn>

It appears that China is going to have some problems pulling off the games.

Shocked they got the nod from the committee in the first place.

I think the committee was paid off, to be honest.

I mean could there be any more of a polluted, smoggy, spied on place to hold the games?

London is hosting the Games in 2012.

Every Olympics should be held in a Scandinavian country. Look it up. They've never had an issue, great venues, great people yadda yadda...

I thought the Lillehammer Winter games were the best ever...I'd love to go there someday skiing.

Good games indeed. I was there during the games and i ski there several times every winter. The olympic downhill course is really fun, but there are lots of courses for every skill level :)
