That is such BS, notice how all the other kids went to the teachers Aid. Truly disgusting how the majority of todays kids are.

What makes me mad is the way the school administration handled it.  Typical attitude of blaming the victim.

You all have it so wrong...

In the video you can see a teenage student beating Jolita on the floor of her art class at Reginald F. Lewis High School.

This was a piece of performance art.

i hate to say this, but it's only gonna get worse....and we can thank all of these kids parents for this behaviour. if they'd teach their kids respect, this bs would never happen.

That is terrible.

"Jolita says that she got no support from school administration.  Instead says she was told that she egged the student on by threatening to defend herself."

This is worse.

You all ever been to Baltimore?

My son went to some goverment educational thing in Washington DC for a few days when he was in high school.
I dropped him off and was going to spend the night in Baltimore and check out the town. Just because I was never there.

I drove past the stadium looking for a hotel and figured I'd drive around and take a look see.

Went in a few blocks and turned a corner. Looked around and thought to myself.
"This looks alot like the city I grew up in. And I'm unarmed."
"Screw dat"

Back to the highway and the long ride home.

I witnessed an attack on an 80 year old man by two youths weilding knives at the Camden City Hall Speedline station back in 1973. Fortunatley it was in January and the old man had a suit and tie on with a heavy overcoat, they stabbed him in the neck but the blade only went in 1/4 inch or so. My buddy and I chased the assailants to the street but they dissapeared right by the White Castle there.
There was a Transit cop in the White Castle but he was busy stuffing sliders down his gullet and didn't see anyone running out of the station.

I used to work in Camden on 6th street, just around the corner from the Campbells soup factory. It's amazing how run down that area was even though it was 2-3 blocks from City Hall.

That was the first job I had where I illegally carried a concealed gun whenever I had to work in the city < photographer >, tensions were still running high from the riots in '71.

Sure was glad to leave that state, was realy strange being told I had a thick California accent by people that said things like wutter and coafee.

I had a run in with some bloods a few years ago.  They came into the gym and started beating this student right in front of me( they were students as well).  I started grabbing them and pulling off the student but they were relentless.  I finally started grabbing them and literally throwing them across the gym floor.  Finally I got the victim and grabbed him up and ran out of the gym with him.  Later that afternoon when I got home I was pulling my shirt off and my wife said, "What happened to you?"  I looked in the mirror and had a slice down my back.  Didn't feel it, and don't know what caused it, but probably fingernail scratch.  I also took a shot in the kidney.  Nonetheless, the gangmembers came up and apologized to me the next day for beating the kid down in my class.  They said they should have got him in the parking lot.
