« on: April 28, 2008, 10:14:31 AM »
Hi HTC,

Did someone trip over the cord around 14:30 GMT?  looked like everything was down for around 40 minutes.

I want explanations please    :t

That was me.  ;)
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

This was in-game Lusche... Some very, very strange things happened.

My squadies and I unloaded almost entire clips of cannon and .50 cal into two different aircraft for no visual damage.

One augered and thus I got the kill (after putting over 200 rounds of 20mm into it (only firing cannon, too, so it was all cannon hits)) and the other I got an assist on after putting another 200 rounds into it (I was in a 190 A5). After unloading the remainder of my cannon into a third aircraft resulting in damage, I headed home to land and log. On the way there, over 15 miles from the action and a good 3 minutes later, I took massive damage (no red cons in icon range, let alone guns range), heard an explosion and was granted a kill on what I can only assume was the final Spit that I'd unloaded on.

All of this damage lag was going on while everyone around me was displaying a smooth net status... no warping (friendly cons or otherwise) and all vox was instantaneous and received as usual.

After landing my kills I sat 'between' towering out and the tower itself. Suspended in kills purgatory, if you will, yet I was able to speak to my squadies on Vox without delay.

It was actually quite funny.

Phantom catastrophic damage and invincible aircraft  :lol

It was actually lucky for me that the damage took so long to register as part of the damage was my sole remaining fuel tank. Had the damage taken place at the time of impact, I'd have not had enough fuel to get back to base.  :rock

Was an extended power outage this morning.

I find it odd that the power company's majority stock holder just happens to be S.A.P.P, coincidence or the more manipulation from the Consortium of 12?

I would think the SAPP influence on the market would be limited to frufru drink makers, gaudy handbags, slutty dresses, and tacky shoes. Tinkering with the utilities providers doesn't seem to be frivolous enough for you "lads".  ;)

....gaudy handbags, slutty dresses, and tacky shoes.

Every evil super duper secret organization bent on world domination requires a dress code, S.A.P.P is no exception.
