Nothing has changed except the discos
« on: April 30, 2008, 12:43:01 AM »
I am on a Vista based comp, and have been.  It worked fine before so it can't be the Vista.  All of a sudden I am getting disconnected often enough that there is no longer any point in trying to play.  I get kicked off then it says that the AH program has stopped working and that Microsoft will contact me if there is a solution, obviously there is not a solution cause they have noty contacted me.  It seems like I get kicked off when the arenas are busy, like tonight, TITANIC TUESDAY, I can play for about 30 seconds and then poof.  Also all of a sudden the boms and the trees are just static, I did not have this problem before.  I turned off my anti virus software, that did not help, I don't know what else to do.  If anyone can give me any advice I would appreciate it very much.

First guess is that your app is bad somehow. Your not getting kicked off connection wise, your game is crashing. I'd try reinstalling AH for starters. Maybe post your system specs and see if someone with a similar system/ operating system is having or has had similar problems.

If the graphics are getting, what appears to be, white dots in them, then that typically is a sign of the video card memory overheating.  You are not being discoed.  The game is crashing.

And that little window that says Microsoft will get back to you will never happen, under any circumstances.  Just FYI.
