AAR for PTO Check 6American Forces Gained:Field 8
Field 25
American Forces Lost:18 Fighters
4 Bombers
2 C47’s
-----------
IJN Forces Gained:Field 17
IJN Forces Lost:9 Fighters
2 Bombers
3 Troop Aircraft
As you can see from the map below the fighting was heaviest around fields 26 and 27. Both were captured by Americans early on and recaptured by Japanese forces much later. American forces did have successful attacks on fields 8 and 25 and managed to keep their hold till the end of the frame. Allied forces also attacked field 19, but that was unsuccessful with the Americans experiencing several lost aircraft. IJN forces captured field 17 and came close to taking 16 but were repulsed by American Fighters. After that they concentrated on recapturing fields 26 and 27. They recaptured 27 in the last minutes of the event and within seconds of losing field 8.
CV’s came within five miles of each other, but there was not any fleet engagements.
Over all American Army and Navy forces gained more territory, but at a significant loss in fighter aircraft. Over twice as many as IJN forces.
PointsTotal - American 840
Total - Japanese 760
<S> To all who participated.
Special thanks to Darling who lead much of the American forces with several missions and to Cerberous who did the same for the IJN side.

who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that
individual is crazy.
