After a lucky hit from a Kate's rear gunner I spent the entire frame flying with a hole in my left fuel tank so big Rosie O'Donnell's butt couldn't plug it

THAT was a BIG hole!!!   :rofl  :rofl  :rofl  Sure one of the Cruisers wasn't "Capping" at you?

The Japanese must have succeeded in mounting a "Hazooka" or at least a Potato Gun in the back of the Kate's.

Great pic of your kill Daddog - need to frame that and put it on the wall.

 :salute

I second Kermit's question. Also i don't recall seeing scores from either of the first 2 frames. I'm awaiting these with much interests as I landed 2 out of 3 frames :D

Don't you mean "bump"??

I wouldn't be typing "hump" in the same thread that mentions Rosie O'Donnell's buttocks...

I remember in Frame 1 of FSO, I had gone to re-fuel, completely seperated from my squad and our little group defending Henderson. (about 12 P-400s) and on our first previous engagement, we lost about 7 of them (so now it's 5 of us including me) and its up to us to defend henderson. A group of about 15 or 16 A6M2s come in at about 5k while they are finishing re-arming. They're jumped, one is vulched on the runway, so it's all of the 880, and the CO from the other squad. I show up at about 10k, and start picking. I get kills #3 and #4 there, and I'm low and slow, I start to run. Thinking oh lord, I cant land all of my kills...

Then out of nowhere, Shreck and his group of F4F wildcats come in and clean it up! Just when we thought it was over for us 4 P-39D/P-400s about 10 other Wildcats save the day.  :aok  Not a single A6M got away.  :O
