IMHO the yak 9u is a fantastic plane.  If it had a higher ammo load and longer legs, it would be a monster no question.

Completely overmodeled. Climbing to 5k from takeoff while accelerating to 500 mph. Outturns a Zero. And somehow almost invulnerable - more than once I pumped 1000 30mm into it without any damage. HT should fix that crap.

I didnt know that. Well I guess I'll have to quit flying it then if a bunch of teenage cartoon fighter pilots have added it to their Dweeb list. It was fun while it lasted. The Yak is a great airplane and can give a fight to anything in the air.
