SPKmes, sounds like you have roaming server issues, could be your connection.  First titanic, then orange, then mid war...

Is there any particular reason this happens...as it has only been since Wednesday night ( NZ ) and before this I had only ever been disco'd  about 10-12 times in the past year.

Sounds like it could be resource related.

No, not the cpu completely, but the system sounds like it may have too much junk running in the back ground.  A half hour to start AH2 sounds like you need to shut down some programs running that are chewing up the resources, and the cpu, of the computer.

No not half an hour to start up ( I'd get a new PC if that happened it's bad enough waiting for FS to open up aces). I run FS Auto start before aces so in theory most of the processes should be closed. I will check that out though.

check your junk files too.  delete all cookies, write down your AH2 password first, as well as temp internet files and temp files, run scandisc, disk cleanup, and defrag and try again.  That should make a world of difference.  These forums are killing my flight time, but the wife ack doesn't shoot at me while I'm doing this, yet.  Gonna go fly.  :salute
