Fire between point blank and 200 and it's a very effective gun platform, keeping it close you can average around 5-20 cannon rounds per fighter/per kill, which will put your kill/hit% in the 20% plus mark if majority of your targets are fighters, few buffs and no buildings etc to pad the stat..

It's usually for fuel that sends you back to base first, especially on large maps and even more so in the Yak-9T. If your constantly landing 7 kill bags in a Yak U before re-arm your doing very well and of course your stats would reflect this as well.  ;)

:rofl strangely enough, i can really pull some good stuff in it, not necessarily a yak dweeb yet though..., i think bongo pulls that off enough for the both of us  :aok

How can he then get 7-8 planes before reloading? Is my math really that bad?

It makes 15-20 cannon bullets per kill...not impossible. I do 5 kills on a regular basis.

Yeah but if you have the combined experience of getting -one- kill in the place and then boasts that you can get 7-8 easy then you are on thin ice.

I do have photo showing me landing 9 in a Yak9-U without re-loading. Gonna search for it...

Mistaken on the amount of kills, it was 8, not 9.

Number of kills 3,4,8,11 what ever means very little, it's how you get them that counts. 100 Vulches or picks isn't worth one good 1v1.

I was down on the deck fighting at furball island, and I managed to get lucky enough for 8 kills.
