Is the Black Sea the place to be?
« on: August 26, 2008, 04:33:45 PM »
Ah, what the hell.

"The heightened activity of NATO ships in the Black Sea perplexes us," Col. Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn said in Moscow. The United States says its ships are carrying humanitarian aid but suspicion persists in Russia that they are delivering military materiel clandestinely."

I'm sure if we desired to arm Georgians', we'd be abit more discrete.

Are the Russians' ready for the Cold War to go hot, THAT's the real question.

Moving a ship or two, one at a time, doesn't really look too menacing...Send in a CVBG, and i'll bet you it get's hairy really quickly.
