I imagine the coding work would be insane but it sure would be sweet.  The prob I foresee would be the AI wouldn't "see & know" to drive around ground objects.  They'd probably run into barns & such and just sit there and/or the dreaded Microsoft error.  Man tho, could you imagine the great tank battles?!  Eww, that's another thing, AI targeting from that far out.  I have no clue, but I imagine the AI planes we have now attack when you enter a targeting bubble around them.  It would have to be greatly expanded.  Still tho, we can dream. :aok

Yep, would be a blast, though I'd have to say that getting AI aircraft to avoid the terrain itself (i.e. avoiding flying into hills/water) would be higher on my list.

I would love to be able to even put a few static tanks out for tank busting practice.

If they could move, stop, start, that would be way way cool.

Soda, be careful, BobTom has been given permission by HTC to hunt kitties from the air with hi power rifles!

Great idea bud, it would be cool to see a formation of Shermans moving in to flank a small convoy of Tigers!     :rock

Very very cool.  I know I wouldn't be the only one having huge armored divisions rolling through bases, if not just for looks.

Or have them going through fields, hiding behind things, or out in the open for planes to shoot at.

Fun stuff!

Well im not sure how related it is but the coding for conveys is already there so maybe a variation of this code can be made for gvs on an "invisible track"

I believe thats what "waypoints" are for? Works that way in games like,
"Day of Defeat" where you have walls and obstacles. Probably wouldnt
want to "waypoint" through heavy woods.
