Eh, McCain and Obama do what they can to keep things civil.  It's the ones not associated with either camp that make things nasty.

Do you have teen aged kids? If so, do you think you can keep track of every single thing they do each and every day? You do realize that they are their own person, capable of making their own decisions don't you? Kids are not computers you program to do things one way only. Kids are often rebellious and deliberately choose to violate the tenets their parents try to raise them by. If you do not now have teen aged kids you will be in for a rude awakening if you do have them.

The entire point you are missing is Palin won't fund schools that teach sex education because "she's" against it because of "her" personal religious views. She want "abstinence only" to be taught in "public" schools.

The very fact that her own daughter got pregnant out of wedlock just screams that teaching abstinence only DOES NOT WORK. She wants to force the abstinence only BS with out promoting proper sex ed in public schools. If she wanted to teach abstinence along side with normal sex ed then by all means more power to her..However it's the fact she is against normal sex ed that makes this whole deal a big issue.
