Hurricane Ike
« on: September 11, 2008, 02:34:50 PM »
Just a question to HTC. The way it looks it seems that the hurricane is going to hit Texas. My question is If the hurricane dose get close and HTC members have to leave will the game still be up? And is there any chance that some how the game could go down because of the storm.

Yeah, I hope all the AH folks get the heck out of dodge with their families and bugger the game.

Im no expert but Im willing to bet a Hurricane can not only take out the game but also the entire county the games servers are located at.

HTC is in Dallas.  They may lose some power due to thunderstorms but they don't need to evacuate.  It's all of us poor Houstonians that have to leave.

Houston could use a good rinse. Those of us in Big D will be just fine.

I looked at where Grapevine is on the map and I'm pretty sure the HTC staff will be OK.  Yes, the severs will be fine too.
