I think that is great news.  Like Martin Sheen, I would hope that Al Gore would take the lead and disobey civil laws in protest of these non efficient coal plants with his like minded fans.

I think James Earl Ray said the same thing as he was pulling the trigger.

He also broke the law.

"If you're a young person looking at the future of this planet and looking at what is being done right now, and not done, I believe we have reached the stage where it is time for civil disobedience to prevent the construction of new coal plants that do not have carbon capture and sequestration,"
Gore told the Clinton Global Initiative gathering to loud applause.

Urging others to commit a crime is a crime in and of itself.  I wonder if he will actually be prosecuted, or if the liberal state of NY will just ignore and continue on.

"I hope these state attorney generals around the country will take some action on that."

Numbnuts also said the above.  Where are the "material facts" that global climate crisis is real?

Just because he won an Academy Award for a BS and fact skewed documentary does not make it a fact.

I want Al Gore to just tell us what the best possible temperature for the Earth is. Is it warmer colder or just the same as it is right now?

Then after he refuses or we determine he doesnt know all the wealthiest individuals in this country need to close down for a year and not work do business buy anything or pay taxes on income they wont be making. Just a year thats all it would take.

Burning coal has polluted our oceans and lakes with mercury, which bio-accumulate in the food chain.  Why do you think there are advisories on how many fish you can eat a month?

Al Gore chose his words carefully. Sequestration is the act of seizing property from the rightful owner under process of law. Had he said carbon-sequestration that would have been different...

Is he going to bail out the people who take his advice and hire them all high priced lawyers, or will they all just be noble sacrifices to further his career?

I think he really has lost it.

Massive strip mining, poor techniques at tunnel mining, and topside separation of ore from the bulk was what put the Mercury and lead in the water.
