the movie was great, braveheart used to be my favorite until i watched this one, from start to end i had goosebumps, definitely one of the best movies IMO.

but as far as "history" goes its laughable, I am glad they used Frank Millers version.

I had an awsome time watching the movie, and I still do have an awsome time doing so. I love the visuals, definitly dig the special atmosphere created by the animations, down to the outfits/accessories. :rock

I don't think the real story of Thermopylae needed dramatisation, should have been more realistic - it just annoyed me in a way

Yea, but the movie woulda kind of sucked :(

It was entertaining.  Not a good movie at all, but a fun amusement park ride.

You all do know that the movie was an adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel take on that historical even, don't you?

Wasn't Frank Miller the guy who came to town to shoot Gary Cooper?

AFAIK, this is the "real" story. It's a bit thin.

How Xerxes could have held on to power for so long with such a low public approval rating has always been a mystery to me.

The film made the anchient greeks look like oiled up twelve year old boy abusers. I thought it was quite accurate in that respect.
