Stick Mapping for different planes...and the pain it causes..
« on: February 26, 2001, 11:28:00 AM »
I fly bombers and fighters with a VASTLY different setup.  However when I want to switch from one to the other it takes me about 5 min to remap everything and set it all up which is VERY annoying.  is there any way to save the setups and switch them more efficently?

I remember in brand W there were what is called "stick sets"  ah lists these, but i never can get them to work.

Any ideas?

The stick sets do work.  They won't provide different scaling for the joystick, but do provide different views and button functions.

You need to program a button in stick set X to switch to stick set Y.

I use 3 different stick sets, stick 1 for fighters with  2 gun types (mg cannon), set 2 for bombers, set 3 for fighters with only one gun type.

In Aces in the setup, just click the mouse on the stick set you wish to edit, in keymapper setup the keys u wish to use for the different sets and yer away.
