are you into large bombing Missions??

the AVA will be holding Large bomber missions on a weekly basis. last night we had about 25 participants but could use more! bombing run consisted of:

B26 -- 6
P47 -- 4
P38 -- 1

Axis
Bf 109 -- 4
c202-- 3
fw190-- 5

these numbers are estimates. it was a great time but we'd like more people involved. if you'd like to join us, our missions will run on Thursday nights 8pm central, 9pm Eastern, 6pm pacific.

I am very interested in participating in these missions. I have joined in with a couple of the other groups that have sponsored these kinds of events over the past year. Unfortunately both of the groups that have regularly run them have selected those particular evenings that I have other committments on. Would it be possible to consider rotating this thoughout different days of the week each week they are held? At least then I would be able to make more than just a few each year.

these missions are realistic with bombers, escorts and defenders. we will only have the planes available that the CM's deem necessary.

bfoot1 joined us as a gunner and was a very capable shooter. we could use more like him. if you good in tailguns let us know.

as for days of the week, we used thursday because of the FSO on fridays, titanic tuesdays screws up the AVA and sunday nights theres something going on too. sorry.

I'm not much of a buff dweeb (well, got the buff part right anyway) but its always fun to jump in big buff missions. I do recall one time when I was back into POTW squad (I left the squad due to difference of opinion with one member) when did huge buff run; I end disconnecting before I got to the target but was still fun nonetheless
