1.  Ground details.  Houses, roads, rivers, long 2D Treelines.
2.  Dead airplanes falling to earth, even blown up ones (just a wingless, tailless, fuselage).
3.  Supply lines of trucks, trains, and cargo ships going to and from factories to bases.

Hans.

I'd like to see enhanced damage on planes, even if AH has the best damage model on the market, it isn't perfect..

Right now any damage inflicted to any main body part remains invisible untill it just snaps off your plane.. Not very realistic eh?

If you could actually see your wing bullet ridden and parts getting loose, it would be much scaryer to wait for it to break off, instead of flying with perfect wing and just get it snapped off by the next .50

Also, the damage caused by light caliber guns should be modeled more like as loss of lift, induced drag.. wing surfaces burning etc. Hurricane is a good example of an aircraft that set fire almost immediately on first hits and then eventually lost lift completely because of burned wing coating. With this model its wing would just snap off..

A. Engine Overheating effects (including failure) due to things like continuous full throttle.
B. Improved damage model.
C. Delay for ACK to allow low level sneak attacks.
D. Elimination of OSTWIND - the most disruptive addition to the game (so far).

1) smoking, burning AC falling to the earth after the pilot is out/dead

2) those same smoking burning wrecks on the ground burning and smoking for a period of time.

3) personally, jammed guns, arbitrary engine problems....ect... I vote no. I can imagine myself in a heated dogfight, or clearing my wingman's 6 and this happening to me..ouch. None to happy.

1. Realistic engine overheating and damage  from continuous full throttle.

2. Elimination of OSTWIND.

3. More Early war aircraft, P-40, F4F, for example.

AS i am primarily a buff pilot, i would love to see layering of clouds (yes even over targets), and weather affects.  Nothing would make me happier that circling around a clouded over target at 20k until i ran out of fuel and augered.  All this sun is giving me cancer scare.  A return to a day AND night arena would also be great.
