:O  TB agrees with me....write it down folks!   :lol j/k TB

I just think it would be fair.  Either un-sticky them and put all the links into one stickied thread, add them to the "Downloads" page, or just plain un-sticky them and make people look for them.  Logic and fairness

Thanks for your effort AKDog,
one problem I'm having is i cant hear enemy hits on my plane or GV as well as i used to ???
I've adjusted the levels but no improvement.
Can i remove your sounds and go back to the game sounds for only this?
Rest is GREAT.

Yes, you should be able to.  You just have to know the name of the sound.

A little side note Dogg, I don't seem to hear any "damage" sounds in some aircraft (you know the hit sound that lets you know you took damage).

Bumpin ain't easy!
When I die bury me in a P38.

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic!

Is it me, or does the B-25 sound a little week?Or too quiet.   It just doesn't sound correct to me. If anything, the A20 sounds closer to a B-25 than the B-25 does. The B-25 has the upper cylinders go to a collector exhaust, but the bottom cylinders are just short stacks. Thus you get a louder sound and plus at idle you get short little back fires due to some of the cylinders being more lean at idle than others.

Just an observation. Most all the others are great. The R2800, allison, merlin, griffon.....the P-38 is spot on and so it the B-17. I spent a great deal of time with all the allied aircraft from 90-98. Maintaining a collection of about 25 aircraft. Brings back great memories.  :aok

TY Dustoff.  I will relook at the b25.  I believe I have a recording here of it and I will compare it again.

Are you also going to make I16 and Brewster packs as well.

I would hope so ;)

We dont taxi too much in AH but if anyone has ever heard a restored B-17 taxi it has the squeakiest brakes you have ever heard. I dont know if new forts in the 1940s sounded like this but it would be cool to have this sound, even as aggravating as it is.

I would love to have this but unfortunately, AH only uses 1 file for engine sound unlike FSX.  FSX actually uses 4 files for the engine running sound.  1 for idle, 2nd for about 1500rpm, 3rd for approx 2400 rpm and 4th for approx 3600 rpm.  Plus FSX uses stereo sounds for the plane u flying.  All the planes around you are mono.  This is why FSX sounds so much better and realistic compared to AH sounds.
