The one year I didn't get on for it, looks like I picked the right year for it too.

HT's fan boyz aside, it would've only taken 2 seconds to come here and make an announcement.  I've already seen the whole Santa things the last 5 years now, so it didn't bother me, but I know there were quite a few first Xmas-ers that were staying on waiting.  I don't think a quick post sometime in the month of December was to much to ask from a customer service perspective.

True, but have they ever announced that they were going to do it in the first place? Its sort of a tradition i know, but ive always seen it as an extra treat they give us when they have the time and not a set event. Ive never gotten to see it myself, but havent worked hard to be on when it happens either.

That beeing said im sure someone would voulenteer to fly the sled around if they didnt have the time to do it themselves. Im sure one of the trainers or mods could have taken the "job" and been santa for half an hour.

It all comes down to tradition, when you do something like that year after year it becomes a tradition and people like tradition and to just stop with no reason or explanation tends to turn people off. Alot of people probably had kids wanting to see santa flying around in a game their parents spend so much time on and to get hopes up and then just leave them hanging with no reason doesnt bode well.IMHO

Well, I am glad I signed off to make sure Santa and Rudolph ate the snacks my grandchildren had set out for him, as well as to be sure he loaded the tree with the gifts my family are blessed to receive.

That said, the annual showing of Santa has become such a ritual that grown men long for it each year.  It is fun, no doubt. I have been fortunate enough to dodge a few passes by that jet sleigh in the past and would love to see it again.

Perhaps now that Santa is done circling the globe, he might yet stop in for some belated Christmas cheer?   We can hope  :)

Wow.  Something unforeseen may have happened to prevent him from making it and that is why no announcement was made.  Hope everything is okay.

Anyway, this proves what we have all had sung at us all incessantly through the years - Santa doesn't come for pouters.... :D :aok :D

You can tell a lot of people were waiting on it.  The topic filled up ch.200 all night.  I gave it til 12:30am EST then logged.  I think I was looking more forward to it being night than seeing Santa again though.

i was in MW till about 1am......kept doing the dot search to see if he was on. i really wanted to film santa being escorted by a bunch of fighters, to show my neice.

make that 2 of us........ 1st time in as long as I can remember of not logging in and searching for hitech ( er SANTA )to get a chance to take some film/screen shots to add to the collection.....dang..if I was that lucky to decide not to log on, I should of gotten me that $38million lotto ticket for last nights drawing!  :D
