That will be different, and it's worth a try.
Maybe the anonymity will cool some of the animosity.

Pretty cool huh? Two big A words in one sentence.  :D

is that the kill message you get when you shoot down someone or the one you get when you land the kills or both?

my vote would be for both

sounds like a neat idea but I think it will drive some away that like/live to see their name in AH lights :)

considering the whole issue is about score, seems if it were disabled the ganging, picking, hoing, etc... would be minimized

I'm all for turning off the kill messages...
That's the way FSO is run and it makes it more "real" when you don't know who you shot down (or even if you shot them down [think assist or successful ditch]), or not knowing who shot you down.

Can we double-check the radar/icon ranges too?  I thought they were supposed to be reduced to 3k or so...I didn't bother noticing when I was on the other night.

I had fun the other night, and will probably spend some more time in the AvA arena since the mains are getting a little dull.

in the last year, theres been no score in the AVA. thats the fun of it. just fights no score. just because you get 6 cheap Jaeger1 kills doesnt mean your'e gonna get a points for a better airplane. thats the beauty of the whole thing.

i'm all for locking score or making it 0. cheap Jaeger1 kills only get you forum points  :D

what about cutting off rank also (Not talking score here). Personally I kinda like seeing who I kill or am killed by. But with no rank  maybe we could get good results.
