Horrible, horrible, horrible game.

RTS games practically bore me to tears.

Give me things like Close Combat.

To each his own.

To each his own, but all of our own seems to variations on death and destruction, whether it be in ancient times or with giant robots. Maybe we have issues.

Or maybe we just prefer to get our aggressions out by killing cartoon people instead of getting whumped for doing the real thing. :)
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.

I played all of the Close Combat series, but the moded "A Bridge Too Far" was by far the best.

I also played the MW4 Mercs in the NBT league for years, too.  When I stopped playing, they has taken the original 30-some mechs and were at over 100.  They didnt even have the source code for it, either.

Check out this site:

I started this project...god...got to be TEN YEARS AGO! I'm no longer actually active in it, but periodically drop in to take a look. If only LucasArts had the commitment these guys have.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

MechWarrior 2, the first truly immersive and addictive game in the line.

I used to own at MW2, it supported my VFX-1 VR Headset, full headtracking and stereo 3D support. Drive the chassis with stick and throttle, turn and target the upper torso with head movements.

Now one game I really miss:

Ah, the memories.
Pokemon started my addiction with video games.
Man, that was such a good, scratch that, GREAT game, and actually got better with each sequal.

Heck, I still play Silver/Gold every once in a while despite its obvious age.

Ah, those were the good ole' days.

there were a few games that I used to play for hours. Golf and wonderboy on the sega master system, still got the cartridges somewhere. But the game I played for hours was ...

now that was so much fun. double points for running down a woman with a child, The trash can bonus "DRUGS" which made the screen go psychedelic for 30 seconds
No thank you Turkish, I'm sweet enough.
