The sherman gyro never worked right, thats why the didnt have them on the 76mm gun versions.
The diesel shermans were only used by some US Marines in the Pacific, and the British/Canadians, and possibly some for the Russians (not sure which ones they got without checking more).
Ive never heard of such a short lifetime for PanzerIV track, 150 miles is practically one fuel load in a panzerIV, so that doesnt make sense. Anyway the PanzerIV is very light and I see no reason why its simple track would have any problems. Where do you get this figure?
The sherman is also a deathtrap due to its very high shilouette, low power gun (the 75mm is absolute garbage for AP performance as it's basically a slightly modernized low-velocity pre-WW1 origin "French75" fieldpiece). Pus they burned very easily, had thin and vertical side armor. It was vulnerable to a wide range of german weapons at nearly all reasonable combat ranges.
It was criminal to keep that thing in production past 1943 without replacement or at least a 90mm gun. Even the 76mm was generally pointless until late in the war
when HVAP ammo came about, but even then it was severly limited in supply overall and Tankers were OFFICIALLY forbidden to get any quantity of it as it was mostly sent to the TDs. Really criminal.
The T34 is a better choice the 76mm gun is inferior to the PanzerIVs 75mm, as are its sights. The 85mm weapon is similar to the US 76mm and PzIV 75mm in performance, but still suffers in sighting. It has a better armor layout than either Sherman or PanzerIV, it has roughly equal shilouette to PzIV, both being vastly superior to sherman in this regard.
As for tiger or any perk tank in AH, it would be a good tank for tank fighting but It will simply be dive bombed every time its seen.
