"the caffiene in soft drinks dehydrates you and are therefore bad for your health" is from your posted link, not something I have suggested. (although I did use the conversion to show the daily intake from only drinking classic coke, compared to only drinking water, which applies to regular water drinkers. please feel free to adjust the amounts down by 33% for regular coke drinkers, the point still stands.)
