109s in Swiss Air Force

I found some more profiles and pix of 109s that where given to Swiss or landed there.  It is my understanding that The Swiss Air forces flew the 109s in battle against Germany's 109s. lol kind like main arena on AH.  There where alot of 109E-3 that where given to the Swiss in 1939 or 1940.  is it possible to have these skins on AH?

I don't recall if Switzerland bought 109s or they may have been "captured", as in interred.

At any rate, you could also argue that they did not see combat since Switzerland was a non-participant.  I know, they intercepted aircraft flying in Swiss airspace.  But, combat?  It's a stretch.

Unfortunately though both the Bf 109E and the G-6 are full.

From what i have read, they did some air to air combat with Germany. This may be true at the time Germany invade France.

Switzerland was a neutral country in the war. The skins will not be accepted. Also, many of them were captured (they repainted and took over any plane from any nation that landed inside their borders, including B-17s and many US planes).

I did a Spanish 109F and it was rejected because Spain was technically neutral (although planning to help the Germans, never did).

Thats to bad your got rejected.  Would like to see them both on.

I seem to recall WAAY back early in AH1 days a 109E was skinned with Swiss colors. I know because I used the photoshop template for my first ever 109 skin. However, I don't recall if it was ever in-game or not.

If they let it in the game once, I don't see why not again.  Although I think the G6 slots are full or damn close.  I THINK the E made it in too, but that's so damn long ago who can remember.

Tec, as AH has grown, HTC has evolved their quality control.

Allowances that might have once let a skin into the game may no longer be open. For example, plane versions vs skin versions (skinning a P-38E on a P-38G plane, or putting a 109E-7 onto a 109E-4).

As HTC has increased the quality and fidelity of their flight models and 3D models, they have also changed some of the ways skins can be accepted onto those skins.


Currently, they say "no" to neutral countries, end of story.
