So you have 14 Amps on the +12V? If that's so you will need a new power supply to accommodate any form of a graphics card upgrade.

RAM will definitely help. Best of all, you shouldn't require a new power supply to support that extra RAM.

Your computer is in one of those classic predicaments. You most likely have a small computer case, a low-end power-supply, no video card, no sound card, and hardware which barely emits any heat. Putting in new components (not upgrading existing components) wouldn't be worth it since 1. you might not have the space to support the component. 2. Your computer's casing probably doesn't have ideal airflow. 3. Your computer's casing doesn't have a means to manage any of the internal cables. 4. The component you intend to install emits more heat than your computer's casing was designed to manage.

RAM is really the only thing I would consider upgrading in that system. The rest I would save to build a new computer at a later time.

Was getting more complaints about my warps and lagging so I need to get ram soon.

Bipolar said I have to make sure it runs with my power supply and can handle it

Oh and I put in Old RAM from my moms windows Vista to see what would happen it was a stick of 512mb bringing my RAM to 702mbs of RAM and then went to log into AH2 and it said screen resolution to high see owners manual or lower resolution. I was running resoulion 1024x728 i think thats what it is for AH2. Why did that happen? And I'm going to pick up a Vista card and going to purchase it tonight if i can and get info i need..THanks again

How many sticks do you have in that system right now?

With DDR2 memory you need to make sure to buy it paired (two in the package), otherwise it won't work together. Therefore you would be buying two new sticks of RAM, not buying one stick to add to the memory you already have in your system.

I wouldn't worry about the power-supply supporting the RAM. If you're not buying gaming-memory you should be fine.

Alright its 2 sticks in right now same kind. Its PC2-4300 does it have to be the same type or can i get PC2-5400 etc etc?

You can try the PC2-5400 RAM. However, there are no guarantees that it will run as fast as it's designed to. Your system is so old I doubt it will support faster memory forcing it to run at slower speeds.
