Considering that they are actively contributing to the defense of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the U.S. and other countries instead of playing a silly video game, I'd be inclined to cut them a little slack. that being said, when I was in the service (USAF btw) I'd let my corpulent subordinates know when EER/OER time was 3-4 months away for them and that I did not think they were going to get 5s across the board as their uniform fit just did not measure-up. Surprising how fast they could find the gym after those sorts of hints.
