But, that being said, it's been a full month of "getting better". Reality is, many people aren't logging in to fly at this point, regularly. Beta ran fine for me....and every version except six has run horribly, a fact which I know I'm not alone. If there were things they wanted to add or change (which obviously they did between beta and 2.14), it would have made a lot more sense to run a longer Beta session, and fix them there, not with your true "product".
Instead, this game is still a work in progress. Mind you, this isn't a complaint. HTC and staff are working their arses off trying to fix their product, and should be commended for their commitment. But, also, it should be noted, that most people don't pay for "works in progress"(in regards to functionality) indefinitely.
You haven't dealt with Microsoft have you? Or have you not noticed the 5 year Windows XP "work in progress" after 14 months of beta testing?
I won't bother with the details on Windows 95 (a and b), Windows 98 (both versions), Windows ME, Windows NT (3 revisions), Windows Vista, all over priced Adobe products, every over priced Macromedia application that was ever released, every single anti-virus program ever made, the bios on your computer mobo, your internet service provider, the console systems, your cell phone, etc...etc...etc..
If it's hardware or software technology it's a "work in progress" regardless of whether you see it or not...and you're paying for it one way or another.
Always puzzled me why people think such things are restricted to just one game, or program or whatever...
