But, that being said, it's been a full month of "getting better".  Reality is, many people aren't logging in to fly at this point, regularly.  Beta ran fine for me....and every version except six has run horribly, a fact which I know I'm not alone.  If there were things they wanted to add or change (which obviously they did between beta and 2.14), it would have made a lot more sense to run a longer Beta session, and fix them there, not with your true "product".

Instead, this game is still a work in progress.  Mind you, this isn't a complaint.  HTC and staff are working their arses off trying to fix their product, and should be commended for their commitment.  But, also, it should be noted, that most people don't pay for "works in progress"(in regards to functionality) indefinitely.
You haven't dealt with Microsoft have you? Or have you not noticed the 5 year Windows XP "work in progress" after 14 months of beta testing?
I won't bother with the details on Windows 95 (a and b), Windows 98 (both versions), Windows ME, Windows NT (3 revisions), Windows Vista, all over priced Adobe products, every over priced Macromedia application that was ever released, every single anti-virus program ever made, the bios on your computer mobo, your internet service provider, the console systems, your cell phone, etc...etc...etc..

If it's hardware or software technology it's a "work in progress" regardless of whether you see it or not...and you're paying for it one way or another.

Always puzzled me why people think such things are restricted to just one game, or program or whatever...

Frame rate now up and down like yoyo.
And quad core three month old gaming pc, discord three times in 15 minutes.

It's only a cartoon game, anyone checked out SilentHunter4 it's very good

Either need to tweak settings or your video card / machine may be sub standard.
Post your machines DXdiag in hardware to get some assistance.

Pretty hilarious that you're a self represented "hard arse" but can deal with those examples of perpetual ineptitude and explain it off as my "problem".  Acceptance of mediocrity makes you mediocre.  I've come to expect more of this particular company in the past 10 years, not like what was Air Warrior. I have dealt with microsoft and have been on th ephone with them in a system down situation . I have also been on the phone with IBM ,HP ,SUN and EMC

All of those companies will work with you untill your system is back working .HOWEVER microsoft is the only company that will release a temporay patch to fix another patch .

And that is sad.

I have a great system that I built but the system is as only as good as the network and server it is connected to

I will agree that it will eventually get better but I agree with teh longer beta and eventually a delta test

I do not agree with the "(microsoft way of thinking){" put it out and let the public find the bugs

If I was HiTech...I'd send you an email saying your account has been disabled and your participation is neither desired nor accepted...but then I'm a hardcase. You will probably get a nice edit of your post with "see rule #4" then this thread will get locked.

If you have a technical issue post it in the Tech Support section...if you just want to rant put it in the O'club section...if you want to whine about the problems you're suddenly having, do it in an objective and polite manner...don't make it out to be a personal affront to you.

How old are you 12?

Thank goodness your not HiTech  :aok

First off he pays his monthly dues to fly the game and post his views. So I think everyone who pays to play also pays for the ability to post a complaint about a service they are paying for.    Work with the system and not against it and more good things will arrive from it faster.

He pays a monthly "fee" to play the game.  In doing so, he agreed to abide by a certain conduct.  If he is having issues then he can voice those issues in an appropriate tone and identifying what his issues are and including his systems specifications to that a proper response can be made to his issue.    As you have stated "work with the system and not against it and more good things will arrive from it faster."

game is playing fine for me.  Very pleased with it.

The last little bit of trouble (a strange curser stuttering on startup screen) is gone now.

patch is running fine.   Bit of a dilemma whether to turn on shadows at 4000 odd resolution as it barely impacts my frame rate and looks really nice but i can live with that kind of dilemma.  It does lockup the game if i select 8000 odd tho (probably because my machine isn't capable.)

In many posts there exists a pattern that I discovered, which I would now like to share with you.

Firstly the OP gets bashed, closely followed by HitechCreations CO (?) legs getting jerked. All in the same post.

This is true across many threads.

I have yet to reach a conclusion from this. I might even post it if and when I do. Don't hold your breath however.

Moving on to the next thread :D

don't quite know what your getting at saantana but i've seen some trends too.

There are guys who  :cry can't play PC is ancient and they blame htc
There are guys who  :cry I've spent a zillion bucks on the best gaming pc and can't configure it blame Htc
There are guys  :cry  just because they want too  (don't we all)
Then there are the guys who act like adults and ask for help and eventually get their issues solved.  :aok

Then there are 90% of the community that are playing a new shiny pretty looking game and are now whining about the important things like HO'ers, hordes and gamey crap  :D

There are also guys who have middle of the road systems who were running the game just fine until Patch 7, but are frustrated that the game suddenly went from just fine to crappy...

Don't make the mistake of thinking that everything is just fine after Patch 7, some weird stuff started happening.  I point to the Bugs section above as proof.
