So in a nut shell, why even have this forum if it's not for the players to comment on outside issues that concern them if your going to censor it?

Let us paying customers/players decide when enough is enough is what i'm saying really.

I guess if i throw up a picture of the political babe's boobs for the day or some such it'd make this post ok?

Yea your right, i don't get selective censorship by a single individual at all. :(

Er Um Lil Sunshine they own the site they run it how they see fit. if you dont like the rules dont post. Political babe boobs??  make sure there covered  lol

"hey run it how they see fit. if you dont like the rules dont post."

+!   :rock

This forum smells 150% better without all of the the pointless political ranting
and raving.

As has been pointed out. Want to talk about politics?  Well there's an Olympia
store across the street having a big sale so why don't you go get yourself a
new pair of sneakers and hit the bricks!

Politics are just too inflammatory.

I know how strongly I feel about certain things, and how I can't resist getting my two cents in whenever something political comes up.

It just gets too ugly too quickly.

Been there, done that. Too far back for your time. Or even mine, IIRC.

There's another forum, populated by past and present AH players, where you can talk all the politics you want, without driving Skuzzy nuts.

Where is that? On Flamewarriors?

This is still an interesting OT forum that I enjoy reading. I often find interesting material on military history or aviation.

There's probably a lot of things skuzzy would rather do than spend time being hall monitor on here.

isn't the quoted post somewhat like backseat moderating? which is also in the rules?

Ok, now i got your attention for sure.
This forum is suppose to be for "off topic or less serious" posting about issues not related to AH right?

Well i don't think that any issues, including political should be banned then. As long as we keep it civilized and an "i see it this way, you see it that way type of discussion" i don't see the problem.

You give a forum for non AH related items and let a lot of stuff slide, but dear lord mention politics or something you (skuzzy-moderaters) don't like or
the rules for the AH portion which should not apply to this section of the forum as it has nothing to do with AH,  and it's "nothing to see here" or some such.

So in a nut shell, why even have this forum if it's not for the players to comment on outside issues that concern them if your going to censor it?

Let us paying customers/players decide when enough is enough is what i'm saying really.

LMAO

Good luck with that

you want true free speech in a forum. Try here instead.

Just be careful what you ask for. It may just be more then what you want or can handle.
If your a politically correct lightweight. Or cant handle being called on what you say. Dont bother.

Wow, where to go with this...  I can see wrongway's point, as to speaking about things, such as politics.  I guess what I wonder is, how far is too far?
I also agree that, if you feel so strongley about discussing such issues, well there are other places for that too.
